This site is devoted to fungus gnats — flies of the superfamily Sciaroidea, their taxonomy, biology, and evolutionary history. It is an expert network effort to provide a trustful source of information and to establish cybertaxonomy for a wonderful group of insects.

At the moment users can:

- Have private areas of the site with restricted access for particular groups of users

- Create RSS feeds for the site
Not everything is working smoothly yet. We are planning to expand functionality of the site and welcome your suggestions and critique. The closest integration of Image Database and creating a specialized taxonomic module are on the agenda.
